Halloween

Halloween has got to be one of, if not the, best holiday, right? She says without any plans.
Here a few looks I tried this year.
I’m no make-up guru, I whack on a bit of winged eyeline and I’m out. My sister on the other hand is studying media make-up so I let her loose on my face.
She worked her magic on the skeleton look, the less simplistic of the three. We used a beauty blender and white paint for the face, the Revolution Dark Reign Palette for the eyes and the Maybelline Master Ink Liquid Eyeliner Matte eyeliner for the mouth and nose. For the dotted bits and bobs we used black paint.
I don’t even know what to call the first look, maybe some kind of demon witch. That works. So yeah, the demon witch was down to the Urban Decay Heat Palette. And what a palette it is.
We have En Fuego and Ashes under the eyes and on the lips. Sauced and Dirty talk on the main lid and Scorched blending out. Sauced also on the lips. The highlight throughout is the Anastasia Beverly Hills ForeverLit and a smidge of GloGetter on the lips.
The mermaid was supposed to be a bit more glam than the other two, but I ended sitting with fishnet tights on my head for 20 minutes sticking tissue to my face.
Full disclosure, I also mixed up the white paint with the latex, so the mouth effect was a total disaster.
You will notice the bottom half of my face it a lot paler than the top, that’s because I had to blend all the white face paint with my foundation lol.
I went with it because, well I’m lazy.
For the mermaid scales I squished a beauty blender over my fishnets using the Snazaroo Metallic face paint in electric purple and silver with the classic turquoise as the base.
I used the classic red from inside the latex (papier-mâché) and a bottle of gorgeous fake blood.
