Glossybox Review - March 2016

So after many disappointing glares at the shelf I decided to fully immerse myself in this month’s Glossybox and give each product the chance to justify its small packaging.

Luxie Rose Gold Large Angled Face Brush 504 - Full size RRP £10.42
Who doesn’t love a new face brush, its safe to say this was the initial extent of my excitement for this months box and it did not disappoint, the Brush is gorgeous. It's angled face makes it perfect to contour, highlight and strobe (sounds like some kind of face disco). Its antibacterial coasted synthetic bristles are so velvety smooth, they pick up delightful amounts of products and glide sublimely across the skin and I’m not even at the best part yet, it's also vegan and cruelty free - WIN.

Hey Honey Good Morning Honey Silk Facial Serum  - Travel size RRP £28.81
I have combination skin to extremes; sometime my face is super dry and sometimes my make-up just slides right off. So depending on the weather and my latest face-cleansing regime I’m always swapping between moisturisers and serum, which is a lot of effort for a lazy girl like me. So get this, I exfoliated and popped the standard four dots on my face and left it to settle in, the honey and propolis must have warned off any spots and zapped all redness - hallelujah, right? My face was super smooth and shine free all day, the price is a little steep but I would definitely say it's worth it.

Collection Speedy Highlighter - Full size RRP £2.99
Firstly we have to appreciate the bi-line for this product written by Glossybox's Senior Brand Sales Manager - Ri-Jean "Fancy drawing on the cheekbones of your dreams?" Yes Ri, always! It's true, this product has got to be the most simple way to apply highlight, it's foolproof you just swipe a little along your cheekbones and below the arch of your brow, blend a little and you're done. Granted, you may not come out looking like Kim K but it does what it claims and that's good enough for me.

Olay Regenerist Luminous Skin Tone Perfecting Cream - Travel mini RRP £29.99
I fear this product may have been a little wasted on me, i'm very fair skinned and (touch wood) I don't seem to have many dark circles or discolouration apart from a little redness so I didn't notice much difference appearance-wise. However it hydrated my skin to the max and I loved that element it also gave the perfect base for foundation, which is always a bonus.

- 417 Catharsis Vitamin Mineral Shampoo and Conditioner - Travel size RRP £16.89 each
As you know I’m all about a good hair product, so I was looking forward to this one and you will be pleased to know it didn't disappoint. Shampoo and Conditioner is always a risk for me, I try to use one with heaps of moisture in because I've bleached my hair and it tends to dry out so much quicker. The dead sea moisture balancing minerals, energising vitamins and essential oils, are exactly the kind of ingredients I look for and they worked a treat, my hair must have soaked it all up because it was so hydrated it felt almost weightless.

*April Sneak Peek* The Body Shop - Oils of Life Facial Oil, sounds dreamy, I cant wait!
